Chengdu FISU World Conference

March 8, 2022--the thesis review meeting of Chengdu 2021 FISU World Conference was held in Chengdu Sport University.

Professor Zhong Bingshu, member of the Education Committee of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), Vice Chairman of the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) and former President of the Capital University of Physical Education And Sports; professor He Benxiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Chengdu Sport University; professor Wu Jian, Director of the Institute of Sports, Health and Art Education of the National Institute of Education Sciences (NIES); professor Deng Yuening, President of the Physical Education and Teaching Steering Committee of Sichuan Association of Higher Education, and former Dean of the School of Physical Education of Sichuan Agricultural University; professor Dong Jinxia, Director of the Women's Sports Research Center of Peking University and Deputy Director of the Humanities and Sports Research Base of Peking University attended the meeting. Professor Ou Xuesong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the CDSU, Director of the office of CPC Publicity and United Front, and Director of the Universiade Office, presided over the meeting.

After five experts' demonstration and discussion, the meeting deliberated and adopted six important documents, including the Measures for the Evaluation of Chengdu 2021 FISU World Conference and the Evaluation Form for Papers of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World Conference. Besides, the meeting put forward relevant constructive opinions on the follow-up preparations for the conference. About 100 days prior to the conference, we have already received more than 2,600 manuscripts around the world, and 45 experts from 29 universities and scientific research institutes across the country will participate in the review of papers. The main preparatory work is going well and each job of the conference has already entered final phase. Chengdu Sport University, as a major force in preparing for the conference, with higher standards, will strive to present a wonderful and high-level international academic event to all the guests and scholars.
