Thank you for your support for the Chengdu FISU World Conference!
Chengdu FISU World Conference, aiming to explore the development and prospects of the world university games and promote the spirit of university sports, will be held from 28th June to 1st July, 2022 with an “online/offline, in/out-of-the-loop” combined system. The main venue is located in Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel (out of the closed loop), with the branch venue in the WUG Village (within the closed loop). As the highest-level education activity of the International University Sports Federation, it is hosted by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and organized by the FISU World Conference Organizing Committee with Chengdu WUG Executive Committee, WUG Village Department, Chengdu Education Bureau, and Chengdu Sport University functioning as executive units.
The conference has received 2896 submissions from more than 30 countries and regions around the world. Expert review panel organized by FISU and Chengdu FISU World Conference Organizing Committee has finished the review process, accepting 915 paper including 446 for oral presentation and 470 for poster session. The detailed result and further instruction for conference participants are as follows:
1. Paper Review Result

2. Conference Format
The conference includes keynote sessions, parallel sessions (presentation from invited speakers, oral presentation, online oral presentation), poster session (online discussion, offline e-poster, offline display board), traditional sports culture exhibition and other activities. An online/offline format will be adopted with live streaming throughout the conference.
3. Invited Conference Participants
Officials from the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization, International Olympic Committee, International University Sports Federation, Federation of University Sports of China, Ministry of Education, General Administration of Sport of China, The People’s Government of Sichuan Province, and Chengdu Municipal People’s Government will attend the conference. Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, leading experts in various fields, and Olympic champions are also invited to this conference.
4. Conference Discussion
1) Keynote speech
The Conference Organizing Committee invited delegates from the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization, International Olympic Committee, and International University Sports Federation and leading experts in various fields, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Olympic champions to give keynote speeches on current top cutting-edge academic resources to promote integration and innovation in research of university sports science.
2)Parallel session
a. The Organizing Committee invites experts and scholars in the sports industry to give presentation, sharing leading-edge research on university sports. Invited speakers will present either online or offline for 30 minutes each.
b. Oral presentation
200 participants will present offline in our conference with a time limit of 8 to 10 minutes (reporting main findings and suggestions). Please present in English and prepare PowerPoint slides (English) for your presentation.
c. Online oral presentation
Participants could also present online with same length and requirements as offline presentation.
3) Poster session
Poster session discussion will happen both online and offline.
Participants should design your posters (possibly adding pictures and graphs) with specific formatting requirements, which will be published in our subsequent notifications. Please submit your poster design on time.
Offline posters with be designed and printed by the Conference Organizing Committee (e-poster and paperback).
5. Registration
1) Registration time
Registration will start April 18 and end at 24:00 April 28; please download your acceptance notification on the website.

3) Registration review
Your registration will be reviewed by the organizing committee. Registration feedback and your participation form (online or offline) will be provided before 24:00, 1 May.
4) Registration payment
a. Oral presenters should check your registration result at 12:00, 2 May.
b. Registration fee for offline participants (i.e. offline oral presenters) is 600 RMB (which includes lunch, coffee break, conference package, cultural activities in Chengdu, printed participation certificate, and paperback conference proceedings)
Transportation and accommodation is not included.
c. No registration fee is required for online oral presenters and poster session (you will get soft copy of certificate and conference proceedings).
d. Payment system opens at 12:00, 2 May and closes at 24:00, 5 May. Participants failed to complete payment before the deadline are considered renouncing their rights for offline participation.

6. Others
1) Conference online platform
Conference platform to be used will be announced in subsequent notifications. Please pay close attention to your email account and follow instructions.
2) Attendance
1. Official conference participants have to attend all events to obtain certificates and conference proceedings.
2. Soft copy of conference proceedings and certificate could be downloaded by online participants 5 days after the conference. Offline participants will receive these documents during our conference.

4) Epidemic prevention and control
All participants must conform to epidemic prevention restrictions and requirements during Chengdu World University Games.
